Crisis AssessmentHolly Hill Hospital knows that behavioral health issues and crises do not necessarily fit a traditional schedule. That's why our Respond Center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our Intake Clinicians are available at all times to speak with the person in crisis, a friend or family member, or a referring professional. Family or others involved in the situation are encouraged to attend the assessment to assure that all details and symptoms are clearly discussed. No referral is required for the assessment, but professionals involved in the patient’s care are encouraged to provide clinical information to facilitate the most appropriate recommendation. We accept both voluntary and involuntary admissions, including referrals from hospitals, mental health clinics and professionals in private practice. Contact the Respond Center to set up a no-cost assessment by calling 910.250.7000. Our StaffNo-cost, confidential crisis assessments are conducted by a staff of dedicated and compassionate professionals. Our Respond Center staff is comprised of licensed clinicians including counselors, nurses and psychologists with a wealth of experience in crisis assessment. They are available 24 hours a day to help you or a loved one get the help that you need for behavioral health issues. Treatment RecommendationsFollowing the assessment, our Intake Clinicians will make recommendations for treatment based on the individual’s needs. Recommendations for treatment are made in consultation with a psychiatrist after a thorough assessment has identified current needs. If admission to our hospital is recommended, Respond staff will assist the patient and family through that process, and can also help individuals and families determine financial resources available for health care costs. When admission is not recommended, referrals to appropriate community providers will be provided. Help is Just a Phone Call Away |
